Inspecting client books and operational activity no longer requires switching between assistant conversations and the web console. Read tools now return interactive visual cards directly inside Claude and ChatGPT conversations. Drawn from the same live read models and ledger connections that power the Zeno console, each card presents structured data at a glance and links directly to its console view for deeper review.
Dedicated cards across the financial workspace
- Status: client connection health, pending approvals, and recent ledger activity
- Financial statements: live Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet views formatted for client presentation
- Cash balances: current bank and ledger balances side by side, with paginated bank feed rows
- Plans and journals: remaining unposted transactions, historical runs, and line-by-line audit details
- Expense tracking: team spend broken down by cardholder and category, receipt status, and claim stages
- Scheduled close: closing period deadlines, open client questions, and triage queues
- Document inbox: pending bills and receipts, with automated OCR extraction indicators
- Merchant payouts: Stripe, Square, and Helcim gross sales, processing fees, and settlement status
- Bank connections: feed sync status, degraded connections, and potential duplicate transaction warnings
Cards provide observational visibility only. Approving batches and posting ledger modifications continue to require explicit human confirmation on a plan.
Decision-first summaries for high-volume batches
Reviewing plans containing hundreds of proposed entries previously required extensive scrolling to reach the approval controls. For batches exceeding twenty transactions, the in-chat card now leads with a "Where it lands" summary breakdown. Bookkeepers see total debit and credit amounts grouped by transaction kind and account category before the approval buttons, followed by the first twenty rows with remaining entries accessible in one click.
Transparent duplicate scan coverage
When scanning bank feeds for transactions that may already exist in the ledger, Zeno now explicitly reports any uninspected accounts and older lines outside the scan window. The Bank feeds page and the in-chat card display the same scan boundaries, preventing unscanned lines from being mistaken for verified duplicates.
Assistant connectivity with Meta's Muse
Zeno now supports Meta's Muse alongside Claude and ChatGPT through OAuth confidential client registration. The new Your AI directory guides assistant setup across platforms, with detailed instructions on the Muse setup page. Every assistant integrates under the unified Zeno Bookkeeper identity.
Improvements
- Business owners with view-only permissions receive the same interactive cards scoped to their company files
- Feed card pagination tracks total records read rather than lines drawn
- Payout card rows omit duplicate transaction types and zero-dollar fee lines
- Applied plans display completed run status instead of pending post labels
- Folded name and document cards display the exact count of hidden entries
