Managing client bank connections and transaction clarifications is now significantly faster. You can connect multiple bank accounts across institutions in one session, and clients can answer questions about uncategorized expenses by simply replying to their notification emails.
Connecting multiple bank accounts in one step
The connection flow on Bank feeds now supports choosing several accounts from the same institution at once, or linking a second financial institution without leaving the setup window. When bank credentials expire or require security updates, reconnecting the login preserves previously configured chart-of-accounts mappings automatically.
Client answers route directly from email replies
When you send transaction questions to a client, they no longer need to sign in to a separate portal to answer. Clients can reply directly to the notification email. Zeno parses incoming responses, matches numbered answers to the appropriate question, and attaches any photos or invoice PDFs straight to the corresponding bank feed row.
Dedicated workspace columns
The bank feed workspace has been upgraded with dedicated columns for suggested payee, category, and class. Rather than digging through nested dropdowns, bookkeepers can see the proposed coding alongside the raw bank description and review historical precedents at a glance.
Improvements
- Reconnecting bank credentials keeps sub-account mappings intact
- Replies with unnumbered text wait in review for manual question assignment
- Client email attachments attach directly to bank transaction working papers
- Question threads track delivery status and client open timestamps
